The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alan Polisseni can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Joe & Mary Palermo
Condolence: For Al's family, we were so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was such a great guy. Your mom and dad always welcomed us into their home. Your mom was a great person and we were sorry to hear of her passing also. Please know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. Stay strong, always think and speak of them often, laugh at the things that they did and said and they will be forever in your hearts. May God bless and keep you strong and together. Joe and Mary

Condolence From: Don & Stena Rickner
Condolence: The world has lost one of the kindest, most caring and honest people we have ever known. We met Al in 1984 when he became our contractor for the remodeling of our home. It was the beginning of a friendship of 31 years. After the remodel was complete he used the remainder of the budget to grade and reseed our lawn. He was efficient and scrupulously honest. He brought us firewood during the 1991 ice storm. Whenever he was in the neighborhood he would stop by for a visit. Al, we will miss you.

Condolence From: Janine
Condolence: Dear Gramps,
You have touched our lives in so many ways, from teaching the girls how to fish, and being in the water for Felicia to jump into your arms when she was not quite comfortable in the water.
The girls have many memories of the things you have done throughout the years and they talk about them year after year. It was all of the small things you did that made a huge impact on them. The butterfly nets, bug boxes, kites, boat rides, snorkeling, riding the jet skis, and giving them loaves of bread to bring home.
We all enjoyed many hours on the deck at the cottage and sitting by the bon fires late at night just laughing and having the time of our lives. These are the wonderful memories you left us all with that no one will ever take away from us.
There are a few other things that make us laugh instantly every time I think about you, however they will remain locked in our hearts forever!!
Love you "GRAMPS" May you rest in peace and join the love of your life!!

We love you always and forever, to the MOON and back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Larry, Janine, Taramarie, Katie,
&
Felicia (AKA) Shrimp
