Alan “Lousy” Polisseni
Caledonia: Died Sunday June 28th, 2015 at the age of 67 at home.
Alan was born in Rochester NY to Mildred Maira and Carl Polisseni on October 20th 1947. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Mickki Polisseni and his parents Mildred and Carl Polisseni. He is survived by four children: Tina (Mark) Sharp of Largo, FL; Alan (Gina) Polisseni of Caledonia; Anthony (Sue) Polisseni of Scottsville, Danielle (Scott) DiLiberto of Caledonia; 8 grandchildren Danielle, Matthew, Kaylee, Zachary, Marissa, Alanna, Evan, Anthony; 2 great-grandchildren Gabriella and Olivia; brothers Michael (Lisa) Polisseni and Carl (Beverly) Polisseni.
Alan was the oldest of three boys and helped his mother raise his younger brothers. He met Mickki and they were married in 1965. He eventually moved his family into a home that he built in Caledonia NY.
He worked long hours to provide for his family while finding ways to spend quality time with his wife and kids. He was a self-made man who built a successful business and made many lifelong friends along the way. The quality of his work is a reflection of his character and his desire to always deliver the best possible workmanship. Long after the work was done he stayed connected with his clients with many becoming genuine friends.
Throughout his life he touched many people. From customers to employees to friends and family. He was always thinking of others and would put their needs ahead of his. He had a tough exterior with a heart of gold. A truly exceptional man that will be missed.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 11th, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 1124 Hudson Avenue Rochester, NY 14621. Memorial Donations can be made in his name to Livingston County Hospice at 2 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, NY 14510
