Condolence From: Sarah (Gilbert) Weaver
Condolence: I have so many happy memories growing up in the Combo household. From the store in Mumford to the house in Caledonia the Combos treated me as one of their own. I am pretty sure on some occasions, I referred to Karen as "Mom". Lauren has always been like a sister to me, through there through the thick and thin. Though we may not see each other a lot, I know that I could call on her and she would come no questions asked. That is a trait she got from her mom. The Combo family is known by everyone in Caledonia, they are the biggest and most loving family in town. Always, there for after school activities or being the house where everyone gathered in the summer for swimming. Karen was always feeding me, she listen to me and always made me feel like is was an adopted Combo. My heart breaks for the Combo family as I know they have lost their glue; the one that held them all together. But I feel a sense of comfort in knowing that their bond is so tight that it will just bring them together even more. I love all of you and am so blessed to have so many wonderful memories with all of you. Lauren, my Turner - I love you! I will always be you Whooch! If you need anything, as I have learned from you, I will be there - no questions asked. Love always, Sarah

Condolence: I worked in the same cubicle with Karen at Xerox. Working that closely,we became very close. When our jobs took us to different locations in Xerox, we continued to visit each other to chat. Karen was a good friend. She always talked about her family, as did I. Probably one of the reasons we got on so well was because we were both family oriented. She was always very honest with me and told me to stop eating! I remember her playing with her contacts. She always wanted to be sure they were in properly. We laughed so much together. We liked each other so much. It has been 26 years since I saw Karen. She would often pop up in my memory during those 26 years and I would smile. The very first time I ever saw a girl drive a truck was Karen. She loved that truck. I used to think she was so cool. Love you, friend. Carol

Condolence: I met Karen many years ago during her employment at Xerox. I will always remember her as a sweet person with a big heart who generously loved her husband, children and all those priviledged to know her. My condolences and prayers for comfort to those she leaves behind.

Condolence: I have such fond memories of Karen. I'm so glad that I was able to spend some time visiting with her in June, along with some mutual friends. Even though she was going through such a traumatic illness, she was so gracious and was able to maintain her wonderful sense of humor. My heart goes out to her entire family. We now have another angel watching over us.
