Obituary for David J Mooney

Mooney, David J.

Caledonia:After a courageous battle with Posterior Cortical Atrophy on December 26, 2016 at age 57. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Kathleen; their children, David, Christine (Daniel Dunnigan) and Rachel Mooney; mother, Mary “Rissy” Mooney; brothers and sister-in-law, Michael (Wanda) and Paul Mooney; sister, Martha Mooney Roberts; mother-in-law, Antoinette Macken; many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his father, Gerald Mooney; father-in-law, Thomas E. Macken, Sr. and brother-in-law, Doug Roberts.

Friends may call Thursday 4-7PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. His
Funeral Mass will be held Friday 1PM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 44 Lake St., Leroy. Interment St. Columba Cemetery, Caledonia. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to MGH Dr. Dickerson Lab, Dr. Brad Dickerson, Attn: Raseeka Premchander. 149 13th St., Suite 2691, Charlestown, MA. 02129.

Life Story for David J Mooney

He will be remembered mostly by his rather unique, boisterous and infectious laugh.
He was an avid biker,a golfer in constant progress and most notably a vacuum enthusiast.
David loved working in his yard.
He was a county boy who loved the big cities.
He loved LONG,LONG,LONG walks at Malibu Beach.
Mostly he loved being home enjoying life with his family.
