Sims, Harry W. III “Jack”
Caledonia: Passed away 5/15/15 at age 82, at his summer home in Caledonia. He was born June 24, 1932 in Rochester to Jack and Doris Sims. He is survived by his wife, Nadine; brother, Tom (Carol); son, Skip (Judy); daughter, Cheryl (Tibor) Kooy; step-daughter, Karen (Michael) French; step-sons, Steve (Heather), Gary and David Mallory; 4 granddaughters, 7 grandsons, and 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Jack was a Caledonia Volunteer Fireman for over 25 years, a carpenter by trade, an avid golfer, and a woodworking artist. He served in the Army from 1950 to 1953, he was a Mason, a past commander of American Legion Post 367, Scottsville, and was a current member of American Legion Post 0225, Caledonia. Jack was predeceased by his wife, “Katie” Sims.
Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 West Main St., Caledonia. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Upstate NY, 310 Packetts Landing, Fairport, NY 14450.
