William F Gardner

William F. Gardner Mumford; Passed away November 27, 2013. The son of Frank and Ruth Gardner, William was born September 9, 1921 in LeRoy, NY. He served in the US Navy during WWII. William worked at Eastman Kodak, Rochester until his retirement, and was a member of the Mumford Fire Department and the First United Presbyterian Church of Mumford for over 50 years. William is survived by his wife of over 71 years, Helen; daughters, Susan (Eugene) Csizmadia Jr., Marsha (James) Yaple and son, Roger (Charlene) Gardner; 5 granddaughters, Lisa, Traci, Elizabeth (Scott), Nicole and Lauren. Friends may call Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 4-7 P.M. at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia, NY. His Funeral Service will be held at the First United Presbyterian Church 893 George Street. His interment will be held at Mumford Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Presbyterian Church or the Mumford Fire Department, P.O. Box 477, Mumford, NY 14511.
