William Edwards

William Kenneth Edwards, 55, of LeRoy, New York, departed suddenly on Saturday, October 10th as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Born February 17th, 1971 in Ogdensburg, NY, William was the son to Stuart and Diane Edwards and was a proud graduate of Caledonia-Mumford’s class of 1990.

Staying local, William went on to be a proud father and remained a great friend to all who knew him. Regardless of the day he was having, he always had a smile, a slick remark and a good story waiting for anyone he crossed paths with.

In his free time, Will enjoyed the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter, biker, fisherman, gardener, cook and billiards player. His favorite days were spent at camp. And more than anything he loved his time with cherished friends and family and his two favorite pups Dakota and Riley.

William is survived by his son, Johnathan (Alicia Miller) Edwards of LeRoy; long-time partner Mindy Dole of LeRoy, doting parents Stuart and Diane Edwards of Caledonia, loving siblings Michael Edwards of Pottstown, PA. Stuart Edwards II of Caledonia, Angel (Chris) Stowell of Silversprings, and Aaron Edwards of Caledonia.

He also leaves behind a slew of adoring nieces and nephews; Michael Edwards II (PA) Amanda (Adam) Kerxhalli (Caledonia), Anson Edwards (Caledonia), Kylee (Kyle) Edwards-Campbell (Geneseo), Kaylynn Edwards (PA), Cory Stowell (Mount Morris), Jacob (Bella) Stowell (Castile), Lukas (Hailey) Stowell (Leicester) , Maya Edwards (Caledonia) as well as two great-nieces; McKenna, Reilynn and four great-nephews; Liam, Axle, Cayse and Easton. As well as many close friends.

Friends and Family are invited to call Friday, October 23, 2026 from 5-8 PM at Alhart Funeral Home 3068 W. Main St. Caledonia. All are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life at 3pm on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Jones Hall 366 Leicester Rd, Caledonia, NY 14423
