Caledonia: October 5, 2015 at age 78. Predeceased by his 2 sons, T.J. and Jeff Sims and broth!er, Jack Sims. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carole; their children, Mike (Sue) Sims, Linda (Steve) Poole, Nancee (Mark) Mag!gioli, Sue (Jim) Wood; grandchildren; Katie (Andy) Vaccaro, Chris and Andrea (Brad Noble) Maggioli, Mike and Aaron (Ashley Stilwell) Wood, Matt and Taryn (Keegan Johnston) Poole, Heather Wacenske, Nick, Jack and Abby Sims, Molly, Max and Mady Sims, great-grandchildren; Alyssa Poole, Niyah Poole, Matthew Staffieri, Lucas Vaccaro; 2 sisters-in-law, Nadine Sims and Jan Holbrook; several nieces and nephews.

Tom worked for Rochester Telephone Company for 44 years, and was known around town as the "Local Telephone Man." He enjoyed golfing, fishing and woodworking. For many years he raised ornamental pheasants and prize fancy pigeons. Tom was also a member of the Caledonia Fire Department.

Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service, Thursday 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 Main St., Caledonia. Pri!vate interment. Memorials may be made to Livingston County Hos!pice, 2 County Campus, Mt. Mor!ris, NY 14510.
