Thomas Pangrazio

–

Caledonia, New York

Tom was born on April 30, 1948, to Edward and Margaret M. Pangrazio of Le Roy, NY. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his younger brother, David of Houston, Texas.

Tom is survived by the love of his life, and most humorous and generous girl he ever knew, Anne Marie Fahy. For 29 years she made him smile. He is also survived by his brothers, John, Brian, Alan, Neal, and Phil; sister, Ann (David Stuhler); son, Thomas; grandsons, Austin and Elijah; and many nieces and nephews.

Tom proudly served his country in the US Army from 1970-1972. He was a member of the American Legion Matthew Cleary Post #255, in Caledonia.

Tom was an avid sportsman. During his high school years, he played Varsity Football as Guard, and in subsequent years tried never to miss a Bills Game. He fell in love with skiing, and hit the slopes at least once each week through the winter, until a hip replacement forced him to "hang up the skis." He also hunted and one deer, possessing extra large antlers, while dead still got him into New York's Big Buck Club. He continued to grab guns and ammo every opening day until 2018, 2 hip replacements and 2 knee replacements over the years forced him to lock up the guns. He still loved fishing, boating, and camping, and continued will all of them until his weakening bones made it completely unsafe.

Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, October 9, from 4 to 7pm at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 Main Street, Caledonia. Burial will be on Friday, October 10, at 1pm, at St. Columba Cemetery, Caledonia.
