Shirley O. Schroeder (Ochs) Obituary (1945

Schroeder, Shirley Ochs Warsaw (formerly of Clifton and Perry, NY) passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at her home after a prolonged illness. Shirley was born in Rochester, the daughter of the late John N. Ochs Jr. and Aneta B. (Jinks) Ochs. In addition to her parents, Shirley is predeceased by her Love, Robert J. Macaulay, niece, Michelle Lovell Lesley and brother-in-law, George A. Rapone Jr. Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She studied at Caledonia-Mumford Central School and MCC. Family was always her priority, pride and joy. She was an avid reader and loved learning and nature. Her sense of humor and quick wit are what most will remember her for. She is survived by her children; Sherry L. (Scott) Bray, Deborah D. (Ben Lafferty) Schroeder, and Floyd R. (Heather) Schroeder Jr., sisters; Jean O. Rapone, Aneta Marie (James E.) Lovell and Mary Lou Ochs, nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and many nieces nephews and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend her calling hours, Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 2-3 P.M. with her service to follow at 3 P.M. at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main Street, Caledonia. Private interment. Memorials may be made to the family or the Wyoming County SPCA
