It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Sherri (Godown) Shepanski, who left us on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the age of 52.

Sherri was born in Wellsville, NY, on November 15, 1973. Before her traumatic brain injury in 2005, she worked at Strong Memorial Hospital URMC as a network engineer. She was a proud alumni of Caledonia-Mumford High School, Genesee Community College, and RIT.

She is survived by her sons, Ryan Shepanski and Dylan Shepanski; parents, RIchard and Susan Godown; siblings, Jennifer (Matthew) Brandes, Melissa (Steven) Holmstrom, and Matthew (Heather) Godown. She is also survived by her nieces, Katrina, Hannah, Emma, and Bethany; along with nephews, Andrew, Joshua, and William; as well as many extended family.

Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, January 11, from 12-2pm, at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main Street, Caledonia. Her Funeral Service will follow at 2pm.
