Caledonia: On November 11, 2014 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of John and Marjorie Martin, Sharon was born October 12, 1942 in Rochester. Along with her husband, Richard, Sharon was a life-long dairy farmer. Taking care of her children, grandchildren and loving husband was her life. Her laugh was infectious and she used it to make those around her laugh. Sharon enjoyed bird watching and fishing. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard; children, John (Lori) Bickford, Laurie (Bill) VanAllen, Shelly Vonglis, Katie (David) Stein, Bobbi Jo (Mike) Appleton, all of Caledonia. Her 15 grandchildren, Jay Coniglio, Jodi Coniglio, Katie Bickford, Kaylee (VanAllen) Phelps, Matt VanAllen, Kelly Jo Stein, Kasey Stein, Dillon Stein, Kerri Stein, Billy Rogers, Stephanie Rogers, Bridgette Vonglis, Colin Vonglis, Jessie Appleton and Sarah Appleton, 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Her sisters; Mamie Sands, Charlene Fagan, Muriel (PeeWee) Angelini and brother, Bob Martin predeceased Sharon.

Friends may call Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2-5 P.M. at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. Her Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Columba Church, North Street, Caledonia. Private interment.
