Mary J. Morrill

Mary (Judge) Morrill passed away Friday July 5, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Mary was born April 29, 1950 to Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (Quirk) Judge. She is survived by husband Thomas, daughters Stacy (Torre Pinkins) Genagon of Caledonia and Elizabeth (Brian) Simmons of Piffard, stepson Mark (Krista) Morrill of Holley, brother John (Sandra) Judge of Macedon, and her much-loved grandchildren: John (Amber) and Greg (Erin), Audrey, Madison, Olivia, and Kara.

Mary graduated from Westhill High School in 1968 in Syracuse, and attended Monroe Community College briefly in Rochester. She worked at Community Savings Bank in Brighton before marrying Thomas and moving to Caledonia in 1974. Mary worked for over 15 years as a cashier at Jubilee in Caledonia and then at Tops Markets in LeRoy. She enjoyed bowling in her earlier years, the Beatles, Kenny Rogers, crosswords, and watching musicals, movies, and Dancing with the Stars. Mary was known for her kind, easy-going nature and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside ceremony Thursday, July 18th at 10 AM at Mumford Rural Cemetery, Flint Hill Rd., Mumford. Following the Graveside Service family and friends are invited to a reception at the Yard of Ale, 3226 Genesee St., Piffard., In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to University of Rochester Palliative Care Program: University of Rochester Medical Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Box 687, Rochester, NY 14642.
