Scottsville/Caledonia: Passed peacefully August 16, 2016 at age 83. Predeceased by her husband, Horace Hazelton; daughter, Donna Hulme; granddaughters, Natelie and Rebecca. She is survived by her children, Jo Anne (Fay) Barratt, Barbara (Daniel) Scutt, Joyce (Stephen) Scutt, Cynthia (Sim) Kilpatrick, Howard "Chuck" (Beverly) Hazelton, Patricia (James) Aierle; son-in-law, Daniel Hulme; 21 grandchildren; many many great grandchildren. Madeline worked as a registered nurse for the County of Monroe. She enjoyed traveling spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and her pets

Friends may call Thursday 4-7 PM with her Service to follow at 7 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. Private interment.
