John Haskins

John Robert Haskins passed away on March 17 , 2026. He was born on August 13 , 1948 in Belfast, NY to Robert and Jean Haskins.

He is survived by his wife Louise (Barlow) Haskins, his four children Kari McCaa, Annie Miller (Jay Miller), Marc Haskins (Jill Haskins), Ken Chandler, three siblings Dave Haskins, Kathy (Neil) Fountain, Gary (Joanne) Haskins, nine grandchildren and nine great-grand children. He was predeceased by his beloved grandson Wade Hutchison.

John retired from a career in sales in 2015. He enjoyed collecting coins, gardening, making wine and above all he loved making people laugh. He was known as “Bompa” to his grandchildren who all cherish the many years of love and laughter together.
Friends may call Saturday March 28 , 2026 from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Alhart Funeral Home 3068 W. Main St. Caledonia, NY. A celebration of life will follow this summer at a date and time that is to be determined.
