Edward Amidon

69, passed away on September 24, 2026.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Catherine Amidon.

He is survived by his son, Ed (Melissa) Amidon; grandson, Thomas Edward; siblings, Ellen (Russell) O'Green, Eric Amidon, and Jill (Perry) Gernold; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and former wife and friend, Debra Amidon.

Edward worked at Kodak for more than 20 years. He enjoyed golfing, riding motorcycles, taxidermy, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, quiet nature, and the way he cared for those closest to him.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 9, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 Main St., Caledonia, NY 14423.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward's memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
