Donald "Don" Race

Our hearts are broken to share that our wonderful brother, Donald (Don) Race passed away on December 22, 2024 at the Village Green Nursing Home in LeRoy.

Don was born November 9,1959, to James F. Race and Veva M. Race Gallagher.
We grew up side by side, facing life's challenges and joys together. He was not only our brother but a friend to many. He loved doing plastic canvas, playing Biingo , people and pets.
He was predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters, Phyllis and Sue and by 4 brothers, Bill, Tom, Mike and Jack.

He is survived by sisters Patricia DeVelder and Cheryl (Jim) Steier of LeRoy, Linda Gorton of Herkimer and Lillian Breemes of North Carolina. He has 2 brothers, David Race of Corning and Dan (Pearl) Race of Henderson, sister-in-law, Barbara Gorton, of Mississippi. He has many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Sharon Brandt, of LeRoy. He loved his family greatly.

He was loved by many and will be missed by many more.

There will be no funeral or calling hours.
