Debra Amidon

Debra Darlene Amidon (Debbie), 65, passed away on October 24, 2026.

She was predeceased by her stepfather, Frank Habitzreuther, and former husband, Edward Harold Amidon.

She is survived by her mother, Marlene Habitzreuther; sons, David Meehan and Ed (Melissa) Amidon; grandson, Thomas Edward; sisters, Kim (Doug) Koenig, Marta Peterson, and Rhonda (Todd) Bateman; nephew, James Sawers; and aunt, Leslie Salmon.

Much of Debbie's career was spent in the healthcare field. She was especially proud of her education and credentials as a Registered Licensed Certified Specialty Pharmacy Technician. Outside of work, she enjoyed bowling, riding motorcycles, playing online games, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. She loved animals and treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her sons.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 9, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 Main St., Caledonia, NY 14423.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Debra's memory may be made to Lollypop Farm (Humane Society of Greater Rochester).
