Carmella A. Callari (Tucci) Obituary (1929

Carmella A. Callari (Tucci) Caledonia January 14, 2024 passed peacefully in her sleep after a brief illness at age 94. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Robert M. Callari, their children; Robert (Tonia) Callari Jr., JoAnn (Ted) Anderson, John (Sylvia) Callari, Susie (Dean) D'Agostino, seven grandchildren, Thomas, Valerie, Alison, Emily, Stefanie, Jessica, and Troy, eight great-grandchildren, sisters, Louise "Elsie" Panepento, Teresa Truman, brother, Archie Tucci, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Peter Tucci Sr., Assunta (Susie) Tucci, brother, Peter Tucci Jr. and grandson, Michael Henry Callari. Carmella was a picture of perfection at all times, whether it be at a casual outing or formal affair. She had a love for fashion and jewelry, and truly enjoyed her work as a buyer for JC Penny in Rochester and Pittford, and as a sales representative for Sarah Coventry. Her career continued as a Teamsters Union Member at Millbook. After retiring, she took on part-time jobs including The Marriott gift shop and local grocery store in Honeoye. Carmella had a love for her family and faith like no other. As a mother of four, working a full-time job and managing a household, she gave each of us a piece of her that was specific to each child and grandchild. Family and friends are invited for her Memorial Service, 1 PM Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. Following the service family and friends are invited to a gathering at the Caledonia American Legion, 3155 Church St, Caledonia.
