Caledonia - October 9, 2023 at age 92. Predeceased by her husband Edward, children Ronald and Gail and son-in-law Randy Planck. Survived by her daughters Sheila Van Duser and Nancy Planck; son-in-law, Alex Van Duser; grandchildren Amy and Ron Hathaway, Brenda Van Duser, Dalton and Melanie Planck; and great-grandchildren Jeff Hathaway, Cass and Zach Packer, Ellie Hathaway, Abbie Hathaway and Landon Planck.

Bernice loved her family, friends and spending time with them. A few of her favorite things were cheering for the Buffalo Bills, playing cards, enjoying picnics, bowling and going to parties.

Friends may call Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 4-7pm at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 Main St Caledonia. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 10am at St Mary of the Assumption Church, 99 Main Street, Scottsville, with burial at Mumford Rural Cemetery, Flint Hill Rd, Mumford. Reception to follow at West Woods Gun Club, 726 Lacey Rd, Caledonia. Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
