Ann S. Moran

Caledonia: Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 22, 2013. Ann was born in Rochester, NY on February 28, 1928 to Francis and Martha Skivington. Ann lived her entire life in Caledonia, where she raised 5 children, Michael, Colleen, Kelly, Ellen and Mark, together with her husband and best friend, Jack. Friends spent countless hours at Ann's kitchen table where they always found a sympathetic ear, warm smile and her famous nut mix. Ann's generosity touched many through her gifts of handmade fleece blankets and warm cookie plates. Ann found her greatest joy in her 9 grandchildren who she showered with love and sweets. Ann especially loved Christmas.

Ann's spirit lives on. She is survived by her 4 children, Michael (Andrea) Moran, Kelly (Jay) Jones, Ellen (Tom) Dwyer and Mark (Debbie) Moran and her grandchildren, Christopher (Lindsay), Lindsay, Jayme, Timothy, Michael Patrick, Brendan, Erin, Molly and Malachy. Ann was also blessed with 11 very special loving care-givers.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 P.M. at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia on Thursday, December 26, 2013. Her Funeral Mass will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11 A.M. at St. Columba Catholic Church, Caledonia. Interment will be held at St. Columba Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Focus on the Children, P.O. Box 31, Caledonia, NY 14423.
