Ann Toni (Parnell) Dubois Obituary (1946

Ann Toni DuBois (Parnell) passed away shortly after midnight on January, 1, 2022 at the age of 75. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, loyal friend, and the oldest of 12 siblings. She was an anchor and confidant for each of her children and served as a pillar of her family. She will be missed dearly but her poetry will always remain with us. When darkness comes and whispers Telling Me I've died I'll look at him and laugh my laugh For God is by my side There's nothing now can hurt me Or cause me any woe For now I am in Heaven But I'll tell you though If I had life to live once more And put on that shroud called skin I'd live it just the same way 'tis the truth my dear kin You see life is just a moment In this thing called time And God He is the grandest And such a friend of mine He told me he forgives us Just the way he said In dear Jesus' teaching Of the wine and of the bread Now I must be leaving They're calling! Can't you hear? Rose, Min, Tince and Johnny And Janey's laughing in my ear! I hear Ma and Pa and Jimmy And good old Curly too I really must be moving off For I have many things to do. DuBois; children, Aaron DuBois, Sean (Natalie) DuBois, Daisey (Kevin) Schaeffer; grandchildren, Prim Rose DuBois, Callahan DuBois, Lily Schaeffer, Autumn DuBois, Scott Schaeffer; siblings, Melinda Donovan, Donald (Peggy) Parnell, Collette Klinger, John Parnell, Lynette Griffin (Russ Philips), Mary (Mark) Moochler, David (Joan) Parnell, Patty (Steve) Theil, Peggy (Mark) Cocking, Valerie (Mark) Kay, Danny (Melanie) Parnell. Several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call Friday, January 7, 2022 from 4-7pm at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy NY 14482. Her interment will follow Mass at St. Columba Cemetery, Caledonia.
