Obituary for Anthony J. Visconte

Rochester: Born February 25, 1926. Peacefully passed away on March 7th at age of 97. Anthony was a proud World War II Navy veteran.

Predeceased by his parents Ernesto and Isabelle Visconte; loving wife of 67 years Mary R Visconte; several brothers and sisters and Granddaughter Sally Ferenbach.

Anthony is survived by his sister Margie Sharpstine and sister in law Shirley Visconte; children: James (Carol) Visconte; Michael (Fran) Visconte; and Marybeth (Brian) Fisher; Grandchildren: Elia (Tony Santos) Visconte; Jimmer (Rachel) Visconte; Michael (Debra) Visconte; Joseph (Tonia) Visconte; Michael Fisher; Daniel Fisher and Troy Hoita. 10 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great – Great Grandchildren.

Anthony owned several businesses throughout his life, drove taxi, and was a locksmith. He was affectionately called PaPa at the Rochester Presbyterian Home where he lived for the last 5 years of his life.
The family would like to thank all the Healthcare and Hospice staff at the Presbyterian Home for the love and care they gave him.

A Celebration of life will be on Saturday, March 18 from 12 – 3 P.M. at Jacks Place at Chili Country Club, 760 Scottsville Chili Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Maple Grove Place Cemetery, 18 Clifton Road, Churchville, NY 14428.
