Obituary for Stanley Roy MacWilliams
Caledonia- On February 14, 2023 at age 80. Predeceased by parents Roy and Irene MacWilliams, Sisters Carol and Kay. He is survived by wife Donna. Children; Robert(LauraLee) MacWilliams, Helen MacWilliams, Karen (David) Hooper, Kathy (Matt) Wildey, Michael R. Leach, Alecia (Tim) Futch.
Grandchildren, Jacob, Parris, Michael, John, Shondrel, Ethan, Casey, Christopher, Molly, Alaina, Evelyn, and Trentin . His Sister Margie Vokes. Many cousins and wonderful caring friends.
Stan worked at General Motors as a machinist for 40 years.
Stan enjoyed photography, often seen at Fire Scenes taking photos of the firefighters and Fire Equipment. spending time with his family, a avid bird watcher, and life long Buffalo Bills fan. GO Bills!
He also spent his time dedicated to his community. Especially the Caledonia Fire Department as a member for 56 years. He served as President, Vice President, Board of Director, Secretary, and Bingo caller for J.W. Jones Hall. He also served the fire service by serving as Livingston County Firefighters Association President, WNYVFA and FASNY Committee Trustee and wrote the WNYVFA articles for the FASNY Magazine.
He was a member of the Caledonia Lyons Club and was in Caledonia Variety Show.
Friends may call Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 4-7 PM at The Alhart Funeral Home 3068 W. Main St. Caledonia. His Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM, Monday, February 27, 2023, at St. Martin De Porrish Parish, St. Columba Church, 198 North St. Caledonia. Interment St. Columba Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Caledonia Fire Department. P.O. Box 1 Caledonia, New York 14423.
