Donna Mae Powell of Linwood passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at age 90.
Donna was the daughter of the late Dayton and Lena Scott of LeRoy, NY. In addition to her parents Donna was predeceased by her husband Sheldon “Roy” Powell, and her brother-in-law Francis Oberer. She is survived by her children Dan (Carol) Powell, Laurie Nicoll, and Jim (Cheryl) Powell; grandchildren, Jim (Amy) Powell II, Jenny (Jim) Seemueller, Philip Powell, Danielle (Victor) Wolfson, Kate Nicoll, Jakob (Amber Conway) Powell; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her sister, Sandra Oberer.
Donna’s family and friends are invited to a memorial service Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the York Baptist Church, 2738 Main Street, York, NY 14592. A private burial will be held at the families’ convenience.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the York Baptist Church, PO Box 246, York, NY 14592.
