Obituary for Stephen H. Clements
CALEDONIA - on July 10, 2021 at 65. Survived by his wife Kristin Clements, stepchildren Mitchell (Kym Shock) Bennett and Zachery (Kaitlyn) Stephany. Grandchildren Troy, Leo, and Eli. Brother Tim (Anne) Clements, sisters Karen Clements and Joan (David) Parnell. A Celebration of Life will be held at Caledonia Country Club from 2 PM to 7PM on Wednesday July 14, 2021.

Steve is survived by his loving wife Kristin. Krissy was his rock, so strong and so loving. She was his will to fight, to live and to love. Their story together has inspired so many. They always loved deeply and fought bravely together.
Steve was deeply loved by his extended family members. Sister and brother-in-law’s, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and all of them held a special place in his heart. Steve never played favorites with any of them except for Kayla. Kayla was his “fire cracker“ who had a special bond with Steve.
Steve was known as “Poppy Wheels” by his 3 grandchildren. They lit up his days, and filled his heart with so much joy and happiness. When they entered the room Steve smile could say at all. A special memory for them is sitting between Poppy’s feet in the wheelchair watching TV.
Steve never let MS or his Stroke to define him even in a wheelchair. He was so much more than that. Steve was happiest surrounded by family, friends and chocolate (Chewy Chocolate Chip Chips Ahoy). He was the life of the party, enjoyed skiing, a good card game (especially Euchre) and most of all a game of golf. He was able to play golf with help from Caledonia country club which was his second home. His love of the game created memorable friendships.
Steve had special women who cared for him every day. Lauren Martin went above and beyond. Lauren would walk in the room and put Steve right in his place. “No messing around” with her there.
Steve loved his iPad. He made friends even playing video games. Some of his favorite games were walking dead and modern warfare. Family members and friends had to download the game just to understand how to help him. He sure had a way to get everyone to play “his” game!
Steve’s family would like to thank Livingston County hospice and lifetime care for the amazing treatment he has received.
The devil whispered in my ear
“you’re not strong enough to withstand the storm”.
Today I whispered in the devils ear
“I am the storm”.
