My condolences to the Kennedy family. Jim was a great guy and a true icon of Fowlerville. He a man with intimidating stature however was always extremely nice. Growing up and visiting their house was always fun and he was always willing to say hello. I have fond memories of Jim and the Kennedy family playing football in their yard, little league games, taking us for ice cream at Annis dairy, and even traveling to Spencer Speedway to see the races. Jim will be missed however, will never be forgotten.

I loved Jim like a father. Working on the farm was some of the best times of my life. It was hard work but it always got me in shape for football! I always loved seeing him at my games. He will be greatly missed! Our thoughts are with Karen and the family.

On a beautiful. stormy fall evening I had the opportunity to help out with harvest on the Kennedy Farm. Thirty five years ago and it remains one of my favorite memories of the season. Always enjoyed seeing Karen and Jim after York Central football games and playing in the backfield with their son. It was a blessing to have grown up with them. My thoughts and prayers to the family. Rest in peace Mr. Kennedy.
