Obituary for Glenn Wyatt Yager

Glenn Wyatt Yager, age 74, passed away on October 10, 2020 in Sebring, FL. He was the son of the late Raymond and Jean (Morton) Yager. He was born on May 12, 1946 in Fillmore, New York. He had been a resident of Sebring, Florida for 6 months, formerly living in Caledonia, New York.

Glenn worked as a security guard and served his county in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a volunteer Fireman for over 50 years in Caledonia, New York and was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge. He loved the Buffalo Bills and was an all-around sports fan. He was a social butterfly who enjoyed golfing and fishing.

He is survived by his loving children – Laura Yager of Sebring, Florida; Rebecca (Ben) Hall of Hudson, New York; Tamara Yager (Dan O’Shea) of Brockport, New York; Patti Yager (Gary Fuller) of Marietta, Georgia; Kimberly Yager (Scott Howe) of Caledonia, New York; brother - Almond (Bette) Yager; sister- Sharon (Phil) Sortore; stepson - Richard (Kristynne) Courtney of Macedon, New York. Surviving are also 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents, wife Ida Marie Yager and a stepdaughter Tammy Courtney. Friends may call on Saturday November 21, 2020 from 2-4 PM, with a Funeral Service to follow at the Alhart Funeral Home 3068 W. Main St. Caledonia NY.
