Obituary for Wilhelmina "Willie" Veldhuizen
Wilhelmina Veldhuizen passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on October 19, 2020 at age 92. She is now with her beloved husband of 73 years, John, who passed away on year ago.
Willie was born in the Netherlands in 1928. She, John and their 2 year old daughter immigrated to the U.S. in 1949, settling in Caledonia, then moving to Spencerport and Livonia before returning to Caledonia several years ago.
Willie was predeceased by her husband, John and a brother and two sisters in the Netherlands. She is survived by her children, Gerri (Joe) Emery, Caledonia, Janie Veldhuizen, Penfield, Rita (Scott) Sadwick, Bloomfield, and David (Linda) Veldhuizen, Livonia. Five Grandchildren, Karen (Bob) Jake, Mark Emery, Cori Haskins, Caroline (Dakota Davenport) Veldhuizen and Jack Veldhuizen as well as five great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid 19 and its restrictions there will be no prior calling hours. Interment at Mumford Rural Cemetery as the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Livingston County Hospice, 2 County Campus, Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
