I knew Larry all my life. My dad, Robert Delano, and Larry were lifelong friends. I laughed at the antics you two would reminisce about as you strolled down memory lane together. I know my dad will miss talking with you. l fondly remember going to see you play drums in the local honky-tonks and carnivals. Good times from the good ole' days! Man, you were talented! I have never heard "Wipeout" since then and not pictured you drumming away with that smile of yours. You were a good friend. I know that my mom and Vivia are dancing in the streets of gold as you keep on drumming in God's band! Boogie on dear friend!!

I am so sorry to hear of Hoov passing. I first met him when he started playing with my Cousin Marge Burrows and her Little Bit of Country Band. He was a great guy and was loved by all... RIP Hoov! Clayton Taft

I played with Hoov, on and off for over 40 years. Back in the 90's we played with Marge Burrows "Little Bit of Country" band at square dances and camp grounds around the area. Used to see him almost every Sunday, back in the 70's, when jamborees were the "thing". Never new a kinder, gentler soul with a bigger passion for playing music. Will miss his huge smile, that light up his face every time he saw someone he knew. Keep the drum stool warm "hoov" we'll be along soon.
