Obituary for Jerrold L. "Jerry" Sturm

York: Jerrold L. Sturm (Jerry)

Jerry went home to be reunited with the Lord on Friday, November 8th.

Predeceased by his parents Louis and Ruth Sturm, first wife Pat and sister Patty Sciandra.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Mary, children: Marge Sturm, Robert (Barbara) Sturm and Nancy (Robert) Anton, and three beautiful grandchildren Jack, Madeleine and Grace Anton.

Jerry was a man of strong faith, always a positive role model for others. He loved his family, his country and most of all farming! Jerry was happiest when he was on his tractor planting corn or harvesting crops. Jerry always had a smile on his face and kind words for others. People never hesitated calling Jerry for favors because he always said "yes."

In his wish to help others, Jerry donated his body to the U of R for research purposes.
A special note of thanks for the wonderful medical care that he received from doctors Vythi Alagappan and Megan Baumgart and the team of WCC 5.

Calling hours will be held at the Covington United Presbyterian Church, 1701 Craig Road Pavilion, NY 14525, on Saturday, November 16th from noon till 1:30 pm in the Sturm Wing of the church. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2:00 pm. Those wishing to donate in memory of Jerry may consider donating to the Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642, Covington United Presbyterian Church or donating blood.

The soft spoken, kind man, Jerry Sturm will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed by all.
