Karl E. Limner
Caledonia - July 19, 2019 at age 84. Predeceased by his beloved wife Carol, sister Kay and brother John. He is survived by his children Karen (Larry) Mertz; Mary Ellen Poles; John (Cheley) Limner; Ann (Alex Webster) Limner; Timothy (Jodi) Limner, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Thomas White; sister-in-law Carol Limner and several nieces and nephews.
He served as a United States Marine in the Korean War before joining the New York State Police. He also served as Town Justice in Caledonia for many years during his retirement. He was very active in his community, serving in various capacities with the Lions Club, Boy Scouts, Vince Lombardi Football, Babe Ruth Baseball and Umpiring, among others.
Friends and family may call Thursday 4-7 at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. His Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 1:00 at Saint Martin De Porres. St. Columba Church, Caledonia with
interment to follow at St. Columba Cemetery.
