Mumford: April 16, 2016 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband, William F. Gardner; her brother, Robert Campbell; her sister, Eleanor Hill and son-in-law, James Yaple. She is survived by her children, Susan (Eugene Jr.) Csizmadia, Marsha Yaple, Roger (Charlene) Gardner; 5 granddaughters, Lisa (John) Leigh, Traci Yaple (Catherine Contillo), Elizabeth (Scott) Yockel, Nicole and Lauren Gardner; sister, Mary Allen; many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday 4-7PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday 11AM at First United Presbyterian Church, 893 George St., Mumford. Life Story for Helen C Gardner
Helen a loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister-in-law, and friend. Helen was devoted to her community she was a charter member of Mumford Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary.
Helen's other devotion, and love was to her church. A Elder Mumford First United Presbyterian Church. Helen was a member of the Lockhard-Baldeck group at her church. Helen enjoyed being part of card clubs since 1960. For years, Helen also taught Sunday School and Co-Chaired the Church Chicken BBQ.
