Churchville: Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the age of 94 after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Clarice of 51 years; his girlfriend Rosemary Grana of 15 years; father Joseph Felix, mother Cora both of Ludlow, Massachusetts and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his sons Richard (Mary) of LeRoy, New York and Russell (Lee) of Powhatan Virginia and daughter Judy Kroll of Molalla, Oregon as well as 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Wilfred was a WWII Veteran who served in the Army Air Corps as a B24 Crew Chief in the South Pacific. He made aviation his career working as an inspector with the Federal Aviation Administration in the Rochester office.
In retirement, Wilfred enjoyed wood working, was an avid pool player and enjoyed spending time with his family. His endearing sense of humor and quick wit made him well liked by many. He will be dearly missed.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 4 to 7 at Alhart Funeral Home, Main St., Caledonia, NY. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 44 Lake St., LeRoy, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Aurora House, 2495 S. Union St., Spencerport, NY 14559
