Ann Miller
(Hogan)

Karen “Ann” Miller, 64, of Conesus, passed peacefully at home on December 4th, 2018. Ann was born August 26,1954, in Glens Falls, NY, to her proud parents, James and Joan (Burke) Hogan of Auburn, NY. She was a 1972 graduate of Auburn High School and attended Nazareth College in Rochester.

Ann married Brian C. Miller on September 1st ,1974. She and Brian had six children and nine wonderful grandchildren.

Ann was a faithful servant of Christ, a loving wife, and an incredible mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She knew no stranger, and her home was always warm and welcoming. Family, friends, neighbors and children enjoyed the laughter and bustle of her household; chocolate chip cookies baked every day after school and the world’s best pies. Family dinners and special celebrations were always on Sundays - memories that her family treasure forever.

Ann lived a simple life dedicated to the Lord, her family, and helping others. The oldest daughter of twelve children, Ann was a natural and tremendous caretaker. She was an aide in elementary schools and volunteered for various churches and organizations. She particularly enjoyed caring for children and the elderly.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Brian C. Miller; parents James and Joan (Burke) Hogan; children, Sean (Kristi) Miller, Christine Anthony, Stephen (Nicole) Miller, Maureen (Jake) McClelland, Ryan Miller, Peter (Amanda) Miller; grandchildren Jordan, Patrick, Robert, Elizabeth, Thomas Miller, Jacob and Evalee McClelland, and Joan and James Anthony.

She is also survived by her siblings Kevin (Terry) Hogan, Matthew (Debbie) Hogan, Dan (Vicki) Hogan, LP (Leonard) (Terri) Hogan, Tom (Paula) Hogan, Mary (Mark) Driscoll, Ruth (David) Groten, John (Sue) Hogan, Charlie (Kim) Hogan, Bob (Dawn) Hogan, Joanie (Tim) O'Toole. As a proud member of the Hogan family, Ann had more aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews than anyone can count.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 8th at 2:00 PM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 4232 Reservoir Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454 followed by an open house in the fellowship hall. A private burial will be held at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford. Memorial contributions can be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, designated for mission support.

The family wishes to thank so many family, friends, medical staff and even strangers who gave their love and support to Ann. She was blessed as much as she was a gift to all of us.
