Obituary for Eva S. Fox (Salmons)

SPENCERPORT, NY - August 7, 2018, peacefully and surrounded by loving family.
Eva is predeceased by her parents, Phil and Carrie Salmons, sisters Beatrice, Shirley and Pat, and brother Bob. Eva is survived by her husband of 63 years, John A. Fox, children Jon (Nancy) Fox, Debbie (David) Fox, Joanie (Jim) Szczupakowski, Joel (Christine) Fox, Jill Fox; siblings Ruth Salmons, Bill Salmons and Fern Keesee; grandchildren Tim (Lorraine) Fox, Erin (Brian) Flynn, Derek (Jackie) Szczupakowski, Matt Szczupakowski, Adam (Tricia) Szczupakowski; great-grandchild Jude Szczupakowski; nieces, nephews and devoted dog Tess.
Eva was born on New Year’s Day in 1934 on the family farm by the banks of the Tug Fork in Louisa, Kentucky. Throughout her 84 years Eva was hard-working, devoted, and boundless in her love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Friends may call on Friday, August 10 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main Street, Caledonia, where her funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 am. Interment at Creekside Cemetery, Churchville.
The family extends their gratitude to Dr. Jeffrey Allen and Dr. Janine Fogarty for their compassionate care. In addition, the family is particularly grateful to the wonderful people of Aurora House.
