February 20, 2018 peacefully at home, after suffering from kidney failure for over 10 years surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents, Antoinette and Bartolo; and brother, Frank D’Ambra. He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Janet; children, Tony (Kelly) D’Ambra, Denise (Evan) Shaffer, Roxann (Robbie Webster) D’Ambra, Michaela D’Ambra; 7 grandchildren, Jackson and Benjamin D 'Ambra, Teddy, Lucy, Bobby and Ollie Shaffer, Kennedy Webster; brothers, Leo (MaryAnn) and Richard D’Ambra; several nieces and nephews.
Anthony was the proud owner of Tony’s Barber Shop and Emporium for 15 years in Scottsville, NY. He
was also an avid hunter, fisherman and an over-the-top New York Yankees fan. He also was a talented
musician that played with several bands across the country over the years.
Tony and his family would like to thank the employees at Fresenius Kidney Care, Dr. John Wax of the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital and Jody Adams from lifetime nursing for the caring and
compassion she showed the D’Ambra’s.
Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service Sunday at 2:30PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 Main St., Caledonia. Following the Service the family will receive friends in the Church’s Fellowship Hall. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Focus on the Children, P.O.
