Justin served in the Air Force during the Korean War, stationed in Formosa (Taiwan). Justin moved to Caledonia in the late 1950s, worked at Specialized Printed Forms in Caledonia for 40 years, raised his family, and after a short retirement, went to work for Pinehurst Senior Living in Honeoye Falls for another 15 years, always charming everyone he met and sharing a joke or two. He was a volunteer with the Mumford Fire Department and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He loved his family and Spook the cat best, enjoyed a Manhattan or two, and looked forward to a monthly Old Timers lunch with friends and former coworkers, where more jokes were shared.
Justin made friends easily, and it was the hallmark of his life. If you were the lucky recipient of one of his famous cards, you know what we mean!
There will be a celebration of life event on Sunday, December 3, 2-6pm at Jones Hall in Caledonia. The family will receive guests 2-3pm and a buffet will follow. Please bring your stories and memories to share with us.
Donations may be made in remembrance of Justin to the Caledonia Fire Department, P.O. Box 1, Caledonia, NY 14423 or Mumford Fire Department P.O. Box 477, Mumford, NY 14511.
