Caledonia: August 18, 2017 at age 87. Predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Ann. He is survived by his children, Patricia (Daniel) Kinney and Thomas (Stephanie) Heffer; grandchildren, Shannon (Sean) Dickinson, Daniel Kinney, Reilly, Darby and Owen; Heffer; 6 great-grandchildren; special niece, Barbara Lawrence; special nephew, William (Kimberly) Lawrence and great-niece, Malissa Lawrence. Jim was a Korean War Vet and member of the Matthew Clary Post, Caledonia. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service, Caledonia Office.
Friends may call Tuesday 4-7PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. His Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday 10AM at St. Columba Church, North St., Caledonia.
