Condolence From: Laura Friend
Condolence: Your Dad was such an incredible man of honor. I had the privilege to shoot him several times, for funerals that we were together on. I will send my pictures to Don Higgins, who prayerfully can get them to you. I am so heartbroken for each of you. Please know that your dad was loved by all, appreciated by all, and it's a heartbreaking loss to all of us. May beautiful memories you all created together carry you through every moment you're missing him.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened to hear of Mr. P's passing. I lived next door to him for 12 years and could not ask for a better neighbor. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for very everyone. He will be missed here but will be welcomed with open arms after he gets his wings. When I first heard the news of his passing all I heard was his name and I immediately smiled, then it sunk in and it brought tears. Whenever I heard his name or voice it always brought a smile to my face. I am very sorry for your loss. God Bless

Condolence: Don was a very special person and such a positive and fun loving guy. I played music with him in The Sportsmen. he was always happy to see me and had a kindness to him that was unparraled. I will never forget the night we played at The Caledonia Hotel and he led a train down the stairs and into the street and around the monument. I'll never forget that night. I will miss him very much.

Condolence: To Don's extended family -
Please accept my deepest sympathies at Don's passing. As a newer player with "The Sportsmen" (electric bass), I always looked forward to seeing and hearing Don at our gigs. His kind spirit, good humor, and his valve trombone ensured that everyone in the band and in the audience had a totally fun experience. He and his music will be missed, but Don will never be forgotten.

Condolence: Our family is deeply saddened to hear of Pully’s passing. I worked with him at Arrow Mart, he played his trumpet at Doris’ wedding, and most recently dad (Jim) loved to banter with him at the local barber shop. He will surely be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this time of sorrow.

Condolence: Pully was truly one of a kind and I am grateful to his family for sharing him with all of us for so many years. A man of integrity, honor and humor that always made you feel you were his best friend when you spent time with him. In our hopes we wish to leave behind at least one legacy that folks will remember us by, how much richer we are with all that Pully left us; his family, love of music community and country. He was a kid at heart who demonstrated that life was a 'glass half full' attitude who always made me chuckle. One of the many funny things he would say to me all the time was: "it's going to be a cold night, better bring your brass monkey's in;" though this may be irreverent to say at such a solemn time I hazard a guess that he is laughing with me. May the Pullyblank families take comfort in knowing how loved and admired he was by so many generations of people and how we will all miss having him in our daily lives.
