Belcoda (Fisherville): May 3, 2016. Passed away on the family farm where he was born on December 22, 1918. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Monica Fisher; his parents, Elizabeth (Skelly) and George Fisher; as well as his sister and 7 brothers. He is survived by his children, Raymond (Jacquiline) Fisher, Joyce Wilding, Paul Fisher, Julie (Frank Formicola) Cronin; his grandchildren, Colette (Derek) Backus, Melissa (Jeff) Fisher-Jones, Jonathan Fisher, Greg (Angela) Wilding, Lisa (Alan) Brown, Lily Fisher; his great-grandchildren, Devin Backus, Daniel Backus, Grace Wilding, Connor Wilding, Cian Brown, Gavin Brown; sisters-in-law, Mildred Fisher, Mildred Henault; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. His family greatly appreciates the support that he has received over the years from his many relatives, friends, neighbors and house caregivers. He will be long remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, grandparent and friend to all.
Family and friends may call Monday, May 9th, 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 Main St., Caledonia. His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 10th at 10 AM at St. Columba Church, 198 North St., Caledonia. Interment will follow at the Wheatland Rural Cemetery. Donations in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 197 Somerset St., Rochester, NY 14611.
