Waterloo, NY: Died peacefully on January 30, 2016 at age 79 in Waterloo, NY, he was formerly of York, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Linda Carson; children, Chris Carson, Anthony (Deanna) Schettine, Joseph (Brenda) Schettine, Theresa Schettine, Julie Georgeski, Katrina (Gordon) Loscombe; brother, Herbert Carson; 10 grandsons and 7 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his daughter, Kathryn Ann Carson; son, Michael Jon Schettine.

Ronald was born in Warsaw, NY on April 4, 1936, the son of the late Viola and Wendall Carson. He graduated from York Central School, Retsof, NY in 1955. He worked for 50 years on the railroad.

Family and friends are invited to call Saturday (February 6, 2016) from 2-4 PM at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main Street, Caledonia. Interment, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an animal shelter or a charity of your choice.
