Grace H. Layland
Caledonia: On October 16, 2013 at age 71. She was born March 17, 1942 in White Plains, New York to Robert and Jeanne Hubbard. Grace graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 1964 . She retired from teaching at Holy Family School, LeRoy, New York. Grace enjoyed sewing, golfing and playing euchre. She is survived by her husband, James; children, James Layland, Douglas (Kelly) Layland, Amy (Joel) Fitzsimmons; grandchildren, Anna and Owen Fitzsimmons, Jack, Max, Molly and Tess Layland; sister, Roberta (Richard) Trier; sister-in-law, Diane Brewster; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 4-7 P.M. at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street, Caledonia. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 21, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 Main Street, Caledonia, New York 14423 at 11 a.m. Her interment will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, York, New York. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church or the Caledonia Library, 3108 Main Street, Caledonia, New York 14423.
